1.    Just concentrated on what I had to do next – the next step.
2.    I tried to analyze the problem in order to understand it better.
3.    Turned to work or substitute activity to take my mind off things.

شرح سایت روان سنجی: این مقیاس دامنه ای از اندیشه ها و عمل هایی را که مردم برای مقابله با تنش ها بیرونی و درونی به کار می گیرند، مورد بررسی قرار می دهد. این مقیاس با فهرست شیوه های مقابله "فالکمن و لازاروس، 1980" تفاوت در گویه ها و گزینه پاسخ دارد.
در دو مطالعه نزد زوج های دارای تنش (فالمن و همکاران، 1986) و دانشجویان در زمان امتحان (فالکمن و همکاران، 1985) دو دسته عامل داده شده است.
در ایران: برگردان به فارسی این مقیاس توسط "ساعنچی و همکاران، 1389" با عنوان "روش های کنارآمدن" منتشر شده است.
